My Biography:

Your wedding…it’s all about YOU!! (Except this part, this is My Bio so super quick – a bit about me and then it’s done, I promise!)

I've loved weddings and family celebrations with friends since I can remember, as I come from a HUGE family. I moved to Australia from Canada 12 years ago and yes, I still have my (endearing) accent...
I met my husband within a year and was so inspired by the Celebrant that we chose to marry US that I decided to get into the industry myself and I truly think it’s the best job in the world. I now have two rescued Greyhounds as my fur children (they LOVE to pose in Tuxedos, should you need extra guests...) and I have made tropical Kingscliff Beach, NSW our home.
I am passionate about providing couples with a memorable, personal and well-organised wedding ceremony and I get such satisfaction in witnessing the happiness that comes with sharing such a meaningful moment in the lives of two people in love. I have a relaxed and adaptable approach and my goal is to provide couples with a stress free ceremony that they can truly delight in.

Now I love to talk but even more so, I love to listen. Meeting clients for the first time and hearing them tell their story together (it usually starts off shy but then morphs quickly into giggle-mode!) is just magic to me and all that I want is to translate those beautiful feelings into a ceremony that will have their guests feeling relaxed, entertained and inspired by the love and commitment that they are witnessing.
There’s truly nothing better!
If you’re reading this now – it’s probably YOUR time!
The time to have it just your way, the way you’ve always dreamed of.
We are so lucky here in Australia that we have the flexibility to have a legal marriage ceremony just about anywhere, with anyone and at anytime!
So let’s design this day of yours, shall we?
You may already have a vision for your wedding ceremony and if so, allow me to help bring this dream to a reality.
If not, that’s perfectly Ok – I will support you all the way, designing a ceremony unique to your individual style – creating memories that you will share forever.
Whether you’ve got it all mapped out or need some serious guidance, I would be so honoured to meet you and be a part of your incredible day.

<Marrying two of my besties, Sam and Sarah in Byron Bay. It was only my second ceremony and they were the first couple to "hire" me. It was such a pleasure and a day that I, along with them, will never forget.
"Love is a temporary madness, it erupts like volcanoes and then subsides. And when it subsides, you have to make a decision. You have to work out whether your roots have so entwined together that it is inconceivable that you should ever part. Because this is what love is. Love is not breathlessness, it is not excitement, it is not the promulgation of promises of eternal passion, it is not the desire to mate every second minute of the day, it is not lying awake at night imagining that he is kissing every cranny of your body. No, don't blush, I am telling you some truths. That is just being "in love," which any fool can do. Love itself is what is left over when being in love has burned away, and this is both an art and a fortunate accident."
